“Playground Program”

for children who have completed kindergarten through grade 7

NO PRE-REGISTRATION Register at Parks

Staff: Rebecca Haught, coordinator

Fee: $10.00 registration and first visit, then $5.00 daily fee

Special Discount cards are available: 10 visits for $45.00 after initial registration fee is paid.

Begins June 16 for 6 weeks

10 AM - 2 PM Monday – Friday (no program on July 4)

Locations:

Mondays at Pedora

Tuesdays at Bear Hollow

Wednesdays at Kovalczik

Thursdays at Chambers

Fridays at Townsend

Sports, games, crafts, board games, hikes, camaraderie and great fun!! Weekly program schedules will be listed in Penn-Franklin News this summer.

“Volunteer at the Murrysville Playground”

Must have completed 8th grade.

All volunteers must attend the Training date: Tuesday, June 24th, 6- 8:30 pm at the Community Center

There are two types of volunteers:

FIRST TIME AND OUR REGULAR VOLUNTEERS – call 724-327-2100, x 115 and leave your name, grade, age, address, telephone number and days that you will be available to volunteer….LAST DATE TO SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER IS JUNE 10..speak clearly

SENIOR VOLUNTEERS -(ONLY high school students are eligible)

To be a Senior Volunteer…you must apply for this important position.

Write a letter stating why you would make a good Senior Volunteer, qualifications, past related experience, days and times available and two references not related to the playground or a relative. Mail or drop off at the municipal building before June. 2. Staff will select a limited number of Senior Volunteers based on application and previous experience as a playground volunteer. You will be notified by June 9 if you were selected.
