The Department of Engineering is responsible for engineering services for the municipality.

Prepare plans and specifications for the construction, remodeling or maintenance of any municipal property or facility.
Plan, develop and design, in cooperation with other appropriate municipal departments and commissions, park and recreation facilities owned, acquired or designated by the municipality.
Supervise the engineering of construction projects undertaken by the municipality.
Advise all departments that require engineering services.
