Open Burning
The Municipal Code contains rules on open burning in Murrysville. The code includes monitoring, attendance, safety requirements, and size restrictions. No open burning is allowed on Sunday or Monday. Burning of garbage is prohibited. Violations of the Fire Prevention Code, Chapter 115 of the Code of the Municipality, may result in fines up to $1,000.
